Get the Workbook | Facilitator Guide | Donate to Magis Center | God wants everyone to go to Heaven. All people have inherent dignity and worth, no matter their background, ethnicity, age, sex, ability, or talent. We should care for sick people and help the needy. Common sense, right? Hardly. We tend to take these ideas for granted now, but Jesus’ teachings were truly radical at the time. In this chapter, you will explore how the message of Christianity changed the world.

In this episode you will learn that ...

■ The ultimate expression of Jesus’ unconditional love is His self-sacrifice at the end of His earthly mission.

■ At the Last Supper Jesus instituted the Eucharist, specifying that this gift is truly His Body and Blood.

■ Jesus initiated a New Covenant — a solemn binding promise between parties — in His Blood, bringing salvation to our entire human race.

■ Jesus instructed the Apostles to perform the Eucharistic ritual so that He would actually be present with them when they do, anywhere on Earth, throughout history.

■ Knowing and sharing God’s love and our intended destiny to be happy with Him can make the difference between a life of hope and a life of despair, especially in a world so darkened by suffering and evil.
