Heroic Leadership & Spiritual Multiplication with David Bereit

In Session 2, we saw that men in our society have fallen in a manner similar to King David and that we are suffering the same consequences. To understand why, we must go back “to the beginning” 

Men have been entrusted with four leadership roles. They flow from the original blessing to humanity. To fulfill these four leadership roles, men must develop within themselves the five characteristics of an authentic leader. There is incredible beauty and depth behind these leadership roles and characteristics.

Creating Authentic Brotherhood with Deacon Charlie Echeverry

Thomas Joseph White's book <a href= "https://www.amazon.com/Incarnate-Lord-Thomistic-Christology-Ressourcement/dp/0813227453/?tag=woonfi-20"> The Incarnate Lord</a> discusses the importance of Jesus' identity. The classical tradition of Christology understood Jesus ontologically, that is to say, in terms of his fundamental being or existential identity; whereas modern and contemporary Christology tends to understand Jesus psychologically or relationally. The transition from an ontological Christology to a consciousness Christology has conduced toward all manner of relativism, subjectivism, indifferentism, and the attenuation of evangelical zeal. Two young saints, one who loved mountaineering and the other rocked Nike sneakers: Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati prove holiness doesn’t mean leaving normal life behind—it means living it to the fullest with Christ. 

Father Dave and Deacon Bob reflect on Pope Leo’s homily at the canonization Mass for these two young Italians and explore why so many saints begin saying yes to God in their youth.
