3 Reasons Catholic Christians Delay Giving Testimony

He has more than 30 years of coaching experience and currently serves as a senior offensive analyst for LSU football. His coaching career includes winning a Super Bowl with the New Orleans Saints in 2009 and capturing the 1997 national championship with Michigan, having been a part of five Big Ten Championships with the Wolverines. Prior to coming onboard with LSU, he spent three years at Bowling Green where he served as offensive coordinator along with coaching the running backs and offensive line. That was his second stint with their program, having previously been there from 1986-1995 when he served in a variety of roles and helped them to back-to-back MAC Championships and bowl game victories in 1991 and 1992. How Can I Find Healing? w/ Dr. Bob Schuchts

In the ascent towards holiness and happiness, a Catholic man must build the good habits (Virtue, from the Latin, vir, meaning “manliness, moral strength, goodness, valor”) of the moral life and break the bad habits (Vice, from the Latin, vitium, meaning “defect, offense, blemish, imperfection”) which cause him to fall into sin and risk losing his salvation. Sacred Tradition

This week John and Victor discuss the true purpose of life . . . and it isn't anything the world offers us. Many men today are wrapped up in a materialist culture, putting their careers and possessions above everything else, only to realize later in life that they missed out on some of the most important things in their lives. Others think that it's enough just to show up to church on Sundays and go about their business. Maybe for some they fear that what they would get if they gave everything up wouldn't be better. 

Men, it's time we dare to believe! Jesus promises us so much more and to settle for anything else is to settle for less. It's not wrong to have questions or doubts, but we have to take those directly to our Lord and trust in Him. 

Our faith isn't something. It's everything. 

Get in the Scriptures. Go to Mass everyday. Join a men's group. There's work to be done.

Weakness Finder

Nathan Crankfield was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA. He was
baptized Lutheran, but entered the Catholic Church at age 13,
becoming the first Catholic in his family. In 2015, he graduated from
Mount St. Mary's University, where he received an Army ROTC
Scholarship. After graduation, Nathan was commissioned and trained
as an Infantry officer at Fort Benning, GA, where he completed U.S.
Army Airborne School and Ranger School. Upon completion, he
headed to Fort Bragg, NC, where he served in the 82nd Airborne
Division for three years.

After a deployment to Afghanistan, Nathan knew it was time to pursue
his love for evangelization. In 2019, he accepted a position at the
Dynamic Catholic Institute, where he faithfully served as a Parish
