ABOUT DEACON
Deacon Craig Anderson was ordained in February 2011 for the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy (Diocese) of Phoenix, which serves the 13 western states, and is part of the Byzantine Catholic Church in America, an Eastern Catholic Church in full communion with the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church.
He retired after a career in the Fire service, working as a Fire investigator and fire prevention officer for a northern California Fire Dept. Before that he worked as a Roman Catholic lay minister and high school teacher. He has a Master of Arts degree in Theology and Ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he met his wife MaryTherese.
They have five adult children and eight grandchildren. Deacon Craig has been involved in ministry to men for most of his life (and previously served on the Board for Catholic Men's Fellowship of California). He and his wife recently relocated to Fort Worth, Texas.
