In the Institution of the Eucharist, the Word becomes flesh and dwells among us. Mary is mother of the Eucharist—she is the first tabernacle, the first monstrance. John the Baptist is the first adorer of the Living Eucharist. The home of Mary and Joseph was the first adoration chapel. Through the gift of the Most Blessed Sacrament, every time we receive our Lord in the state of grace, we become like Mary. We receive the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity Jesus Christ into the womb of our souls and become dwelling places for God.
