In the Proclamation of the Kingdom, Jesus teaches that we must repent and believe in the Gospel. This metanoia, this turning back toward the Lord, is told beautifully in the parable of the Prodigal Son. Even though we believe we are still a long way off from where we want to be in our Catholic faith, the God the Father meets us with His merciful love in the priest, the sacraments, and the life of Christ as we pray the Rosary.
