This is the Every Catholic Man Gospel Devotional, where a man can draw closer to Jesus Christ, learn the Catholic faith and grow in happiness by becoming a better Catholic Son and Catholic Father.

Today we kick off Lent on Ash Wednesday by hearing of Jesus’ mandate that every man is to give alms, to pray and to fast, and His rebuke of false practices and clear direction on how to carry out these good and pious acts. 

We’ll reflect upon need for every Catholic man to grow in the Virtue of Sacrifice so he can make a challenging Lenten vow.

We’ll also consider the importance for every Catholic man to build the virtue of Fortitude so that he can not only make, but actually keep his Lenten Vow.
