Today we hear Jesus, full of Divine Knowledge and the Perfection of Fortitude, reveal He will be horribly murdered on a Cross and shocks the Apostles by revealing that they too must pick up their Cross and follow Him.

We’ll reflect upon need for every Catholic man to grow in the Virtue of Magnanimity so he can commit to the greatness of sacrificing himself for God and others.

We’ll also consider the importance of growing in the Virtue of Prayer so that a man can pick up his cross with zeal and joy.
