What Is Advent Really About?

This is the Every Catholic Man Gospel Devotional, where a man can draw closer to Jesus Christ, learn the Catholic faith and grow in happiness by becoming a better Catholic Son and Catholic Father. Today we hear Jesus, the Son of God and Divine Judge, reveal the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus as a warning that every man will be held strictly accountable for his failure to care for those who are suffering and reveals the frightening reality of Hell.  We’ll reflect upon need for every Catholic man to to grow in the Virtue of Fortitude so he continually identifies and confronts his sins of omission. We’ll also consider the importance of of the Virtue of Generosity and the requirement for every Catholic man to reject indifference and be abundantly generous.
