The Catholic Man Rejects Consumption

He competes year-round as a professional ironman triathlete. He is the head coach of the 18-time national champion University of Colorado Boulder triathlon team, and he is a USA Triathlon Level II Certified Coach AND a Certified Sports Nutritionist. He had spent his years as a student-athlete competing in soccer, including during college, and was even a swimmer in high school. In addition to his racing endeavors, he is a nationally recognized abstinence speaker and has spoken to thousands of teens & young adults on the benefits of being physically, emotionally & spiritually “buff.”

From Atheist to Catholic Priest w/ Fr. Mark Goring

But what is it precisely, and where did it come from? Bishop Barron argues in his presentation that “wokeism” is a popularization of critical theory, a farrago of ideas coming out of the French and German academies in the mid-twentieth century. The Epiphany

He was drafted by the NFL's Miami Dolphins and went on to play for both the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots after having played college football at Villanova University on a full athletic scholarship. He is a member of three halls of fame, went on to become a radio announcer for the Philadelphia Eagles, and has even run five half-marathons. Also an inspirational speaker, he has an amazing story of being a cancer survivor and amputee. He is currently writing a book about his Catholic journey, which follows a book he previously wrote, called, "Tackling Life: How Faith, Family, Friends, and Fortitude Kept an NFL Linebacker in the Game."

Mike Murray is a Christian leader in the workplace and in his home. He and his wife are blessed with five wonderful children. The Murray family has navigated some difficult health throughout their journey together. When they welcomed their first child, Mariana, they soon realized she was autistic and would require a great deal of care throughout her life. Fast forward many years, and their fourth child, Caroline, was diagnosed with cancer and immediately put through surgeries and radiation at the time. With a strong faith background and an incredible Catholic community, Mike and his family persevered the tough times and continued to grow in faith, love, and holiness. Jesus warns men to be watchful in the Parable of Watchful Slaves. Every Catholic man can grow in happiness by seeking the Gift of Piety from the Holy Spirit so he can enter more deeply into the liturgy of the Church to prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ and by cultivating the Virtue of Diligence so he can vigilantly battle to live a more orderly and holy life and be ready to meet Jesus Christ at any time.

Horrible Marriage Advice
