He played for the National Hockey League's Nashville Predators as well as many years with the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals, plus he has been playing pro hockey overseas in Europe (Italy, Norway, Switzerland). A cradle Catholic, he played his college hockey at Notre Dame and never missed a game (163 consecutive games).

He played for Major League Baseball's Montreal Expos after having been chosen by them in the ninth round of the 1997 MLB Amateur Draft out of Jacksonville University.  At that school he hit better than .330 each season with the Dolphins, including a school record .450 batting average in 1997, when he earned multiple honors. As a student-athlete he had previously played at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in Alabama, where he was a two-time all-conference selection. After having been an administrator and coach for the Pensacola Pelicans/Blue Wahoos Baseball Club for nine years, he currently runs Coach T's Hit Lab, offering professional batting lessons and baseball clinics, as well as youth, high school, college and pro evaluations and analysis.

Mike Murray is a Christian leader in the workplace and in his home. He and his wife are blessed with five wonderful children. The Murray family has navigated some difficult health throughout their journey together. When they welcomed their first child, Mariana, they soon realized she was autistic and would require a great deal of care throughout her life. Fast forward many years, and their fourth child, Caroline, was diagnosed with cancer and immediately put through surgeries and radiation at the time. Understanding what perfection means

Jesus warns men to be watchful in the Parable of Watchful Slaves. Every Catholic man can grow in happiness by seeking the Gift of Piety from the Holy Spirit so he can enter more deeply into the liturgy of the Church to prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ and by cultivating the Virtue of Diligence so he can vigilantly battle to live a more orderly and holy life and be ready to meet Jesus Christ at any time.

In a recent talk given to the Knights of Malta, Bishop Barron addressed this convulsive time in our national history, demonstrated by the global pandemic, unstable politics, and outbursts of violence. What he shows is that behind much of the rioting and deep unrest stand ideas stemming from four influential thinkers: Karl Marx, Friedrich Nietzsche, Jean-Paul Sartre, and Michel Foucault. He is the Team Administrative Director for the National Football League's New Orleans Saints and has the distinction of being the organization's longest serving employee, having started with the team in 1977 as an assistant athletic trainer. In 2017 the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame presented him with the Joe Gemelli "Fleur-De-Lis" Award, and he has affectionately earned the unofficial title of "Vice President of Everything." He had been a football manager all through high school, having attended Brother Martin High School, which is a private, Catholic, all-boys college preparatory school run by the United States Province of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart.

While Scott studied to be a pastor, Kimberly earned a Master of Arts in Theological Studies at the same school, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, graduating in May 1982, magna cum laude. They have six children, three are married with nineteen grandchildren.Kimberly became a Catholic at the Easter Vigil of 1990 in Joliet, Illinois, after a difficult struggle during the four years following Scott’s entrance into the Catholic Church. She completed a book with Scott on their journey into the Catholic Church entitled Rome Sweet Home: Our Journey to Catholicism, which has been translated into more than twenty languages, including Spanish, French, Czech, Polish, Chinese, Italian, German, and Dutch.In addition to Rome Sweet Home, she co-authored a book on Catholic home education with Mary Hasson entitled, Catholic Education – Homeward Bound: A Guide to Home Schooling. Kimberly’s other books include Life-Giving Love: Embracing God’s Beautiful Design for Marriage, and a 4-part series on the Proverbs 31 woman: Chosen and Cherished; Graced and Gifted; Beloved and Blessed; and Legacy of Love. She has also contributed chapters to each of the four volumes of Catholic for a Reason, as well as The Gift of Femininity and The Fabric of Life.  Kimberly homeschooled her children for 26 years.
