Recently, I was on a flight and had the pleasure of making a new friend. After talking for a brief while, I learned that she was raised (somewhat) Catholic and had even gotten her two kids baptized in a Catholic Church. 

However, she told me that she currently believes in the Universe, manifestation, and other "spiritual but not religious" types of things. 

What's more, she also expressed her distaste for Capitalism and her position that she considers herself more of a Socialist. 

As you can imagine, we had a great, in-depth conversation around a number of important topics. 

In today's episode, I detail our conversation including things I learned I learned from her, things I taught her, and some general thoughts on how we can have civil conversations even when we disagree.
