We live in a time in which mental health is prioritized, often times, above all else. Self-care has become a blanket statement for all things self-help, self-serving, and stress relieving.
We have an obligation to take care of ourselves, that is, to steward the mind, body, and soul (among other things) that God has entrusted to us.
I believe that the body has much to teach us about the mind and soul. The way we care for our bodies and physical health comes down to three major things: nutrition, exercise, and rest. Our culture tells us that mental health is solely dependent on rest. I think that's nonsense.
In today's episode, you'll hear about the fitness, rest, and nutrition needed for a healthy mind.
Be your best!
