1) Get started: Things will never be perfect. You will always feel underprepared and unqualified. And there is no such thing as good or easy timing to do something challenging and rewarding.
2) Life is inconsistent and ever changing: Don't fight the change, just learn how to adapt to it.
3) Put first things first: Keep your priorities straight. Prayer, growth, fitness, relationships, and other massively important things can easily fall to the wayside.
4) Keep pushing: You know life's going to be hard, so don't give up when it becomes difficult.
5) Set high standards: We settle for mediocrity within the Church WAY too much and blame it on trying to be content with who/where we are. Strive for the goals that make you a little nervous.
6) Have a great team around you: You aren't meant to do it alone, and quite frankly, you can't. So don't even bother trying.
