Jason Shanks doesn’t just talk about transformation—he lived it. After a near-death experience with COVID-19, Shanks discovered the absolute necessity of divine intimacy with God. As a convert to Catholicism, he learned firsthand how the Holy Spirit pulls people into faith, showing that real connection with God is about relationship, not just ritual.
His battle with COVID-19 wasn’t just physical; it was spiritual warfare. Prayer and the intercession of his community were game-changers in his recovery. Shanks dives deep into what intimacy with God really means, comparing it to the covenant of marriage and the Eucharist. He challenges men to strip away the distractions of the world, embrace vulnerability, and fight for their spiritual lives. This is about building authentic relationships with God and each other—no shortcuts, no compromises.
